The following is a brief history of the Lupton Village Residential Metropolitan District:
February 2006
The City of Fort Lupton approves the creation of Cottonwood Green Metropolitan District No 3 (later renamed to Lupton Village Metro District in 2019).
May 2006
The District is organized and approved by Weld County District Court.
July 2020
The Lupton Village Preliminary Plat Map is approved by City of Fort Lupton and filed with the County Clerk & Recorder’s Office. Per the plat map, 90 single family home lots are platted as well as three lots platted for multi-family homes.
February 2021
FTL Land Assemblage LLLP acquires all land within the District’s boundaries for $1,690,736 and becomes the primary land developer operating with in the boundaries of the District.
August 2021
The Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for the Community is filed with the Weld County Clerk & Recorder’s office. The District is named as the enforcer of the CC&Rs.
May 2023
Three homeowner ran for election to the District’s board and assumed control of three of the District’s five board seats. This is the first time homeowners have service on the District’s board.
